    Democracy blinded,
    ushering in another age
    relying on youthful inexperience,
    ballad of a jaded generation
    atmosphere so dulled and green
    bailing out another failed venture,
    business as usual

    I love the title of this poem,which is a fantastic metaphor and very accurate picture of the current situation.This generation is jaded,because of the previous one not holding the politicians accountable to the voters for the decisions that they make.I especially like the last 2 lines,which offer a great lesson for the politicians about helping out big business.Thank you for sharing this well written,concise,excellent poem.

    Ah matteo you are young enough to be counted as one of the so-called jaded generation; but instead I find it was the past generation that was jaded and left the spoils........may God send his special blessings to this waiting genertion. .........

    Very concise and creative. I enjoyed the "green" metaphor and your view of our time at hand. It is truly a different generation than that of which we came.
