Blackberry
The universe to her
is a Blackberry
private number?
none of your damn business
Preaching puritanical values
the color of life is green,
breathing like a machine
turning a paler shade of mean
She can't afford you
such a money habit
slugging back whine after wine
a partner who can only spend
Hate is a family value
so is accepting second best
whatever happened to putting ones self first?
Life is a one shot test
But this Blackberry
connects to a new religion
one based on appearances
and rather shallow experiences
Remember how to dial?
does anyone ever really smile?
sending another black and white text
just leaves one unfulfilled at best...
