A Moral Dilemma
Too sensitive
but it's always the same
the way they take aim
firing shot after shot
deadened conversations
awkward on the spot
A lull in the air
discordant imagery
never a change in the scenery
Left reciting childhood prayers
that never have been answered
or were the sought after solutions
just another round of delusions?
Coming to these dreadful conclusions
this is all eluded to,
finding the need for something to do?
Having a moral dilemma
a life turned inside out
but no one sees what its about
force fed a diet of failure and doubt
yet another confrontation
another pointless roe
one more feeble attempt
to nurture some kind of control
Not buying into this
waiting for an epiphany of bliss
instead of some half life
caught in a game of hit or miss
