Still Celibate
Still celibate,
and happily I will stay
so get out of my way
and do it now
That decade of decadence
is long past me
that decade of one endless dance,
I've given up on somehow
The drugs that fueled the night
nicotine and alcohol,
posing against some wall
that can only crumble and decay
Prowling corridors
with full, locked stalls
wrapped in towels
with attitudes enthralled
Hiding from dangers
that no one cares to talk about
ignoring the signs,
'swearing this is for the very last time'
Whatever happened to
all those characters who hung around you?
did they give up and move away,
or expire alone in a room one day?
Still celibate,
and happily that way I will stay
find your own field to seed,
please do it without me
