Won
I’ll scream it for you,
You’ve won.
I have nothing left to give and
What you give is what you get in this world.
Singled out and broken down,
You’ve outdone yourself this time.
Disappointed again?
As if I really care anymore.
I’ve no excuses left to feed you.
I’ll write it out for you,
You’ve won,
I’m breaking down for your ways.
Do with me what you please,
I’m already too far gone to care.
I am the one who’s become
Worthless beyond belief.
One last try, I’ll have to deny your request,
This time.
I don’t want to take that heartbroken path again.
Fitted to stand out,
Broken in to make you look good.
I’ll say it for you,
You’ve won this war.
My general’s given up on me.
What more can I do for you?
I’ll sing it for you,
You’ve won.
Now leave me be, these vertical scars
Are there to remind me of the times
When I nearly gave up on it all.
I fear I’m getting close again.
You’ve won…
