Let It Burn
The blood stainsLike a badly inked
Tattoo, no escaping
The pain,
Give it up,
My dear,
You are forever
Beside yourself,
No matter what
I won’t go,
There might be
More than you
Can see,
More than you
Can believe,
Believing isn’t everything,
Believing isn’t seeing
Seeing is believing,
Trust me,
It wont’ hurt at
All,
Just pull the
Trigger,
Make it quick,
But let it burn,
So I can feel
My life fade,
That infamous
Stiffening last breath,
I’ve always wondered
What it would
Feel like as it
Racked through my
Body, eyes wide
Open, taking in
The blank scenery
If you want to
Get out…
Run for it,
A sinister smile
Echoes through
The wide expanse
Dear loved ones,
Please listen,
This is my last
Transition,
Even though
I really loved
My time spent
With you,
I’m going to hurt
No healing will
Come after it
I’ve gone on,
I’ve protected what
I could,
Quell the tears,
I can’t chase away
Your fears any
Longer, always know
I’m here whenever
You need me,
In spirit.
