Awake
Nothing you
Do can make
Me forget
It’s to early
Yet to decide
If I should forgive
I don’t mind
Living on alone
I’m awake yet so
Deep in a restless
Slumber
Will we know
When we are
Truly awake?
Let’s stop
Take a breath
A casual brush
With death and
Your left scarred
And lost,
Don’t melt away with
The others
Your far
To brave
To do such a
Cowardly thing as
Standing in line watch,
They’ll pass you
By
Not a second glance
The look in
Your eyes
You haven’t lost
That blind faith
I believe in you
Your not afraid
To keep on living
This way
Give it all away
When it’s gone,
Don’t forget that
When the mood
Is over
Fade to black…
