Never Say Never
An echo,So hauntingly familiar
Your thoughts freeze
On the spot,
A breeze so
Welcoming, you can’t
Help but follow it’s
Intoxicating wisps,
A forest so thick
You can’t navigate
A feeling so dark
And you’ve finally
Come to realize
That all that once
Was can never
Be again,
A lifestyle so worn out
It can’t be re-patched
Together,
A throbbing sensation long
Since forgotten
A murky memory
Of a past pain,
Made to return
A fleeting hope
Erased by your
Biggest fears,
A battle depicted
On a dusty old
Painting,
Framed by the blood shed
By those
Within the oily canvas
Never say never,
Right?
Never again will
The thoughts freeze,
Never will the morning
Breeze be intoxicating,
Never will the pain
Return to a throbbing
Scar, covered by a fresher,
More recent one,
Never will the
Oily, bloody
Painting be shown
To the public eye,
Never will you ever
Have to realize
Something that would cause
This feeling to overwhelm,
Rejoice,
For I will take all
Of these pains
Away,
Never say never,
Because never again will
You have to feel
This
Hopeless.
