Memorize
Soft fingers scurryAcross every
Vein
Memorizing the feel
Of the blood
Coursing through
A complex web of
Life
Much like two
Lives, entangled
In the most intimate
Of all positions
None the wiser
Of the budding
Emotions wound
Up tight
If one were to
Let go
Carelessly dive into
The unknown far
Above
Their heads
Neither comprehend
That even though
They are told to
Tread slowly
Rather than swim
Away
Baby we’ve already
Drowned we’ll
Stay afloat as
Long as our
Veins continue
Holding our life
In it’s light
Grasp
Just don’t let go
Of my hand
It may be too
Early to tell
And we may
Have not a
Blessing
I will utter
My feelings away
Despite the
Opposing forces,
I love you.
