Game
Trace the lines
I’ve known for
So long
Ink splatters
My heart shatters
Watch as you walk
Away
My heart no longer
A blank canvas
You’ve left
Your mark,
A little to heavy
To be a masterpiece
I get back on
My feet
To be brought
Back down again
Subtle sings
Of an underlying
Emotion and I’m
Left feeling the strain
My eyes,
They betray my
Heart, I linger
Much to long
To hide the pain
As you grip
Her close smiling
And talking,
Is it so wrong
To wonder why
I’m the only one
Who’s left behind?
Lately I’ve been
Beginning to find
My smile has
Become cynical
As my eyes
Become trained
To your little
Game
Try as you might
I won’t forget
The way you
Made me feel
I’ll never regret
The feelings I’ve
Shared
Nice try though
I’m gone,
No sense in playing
The game if it’s
One piece short.
I’ve known for
So long
Ink splatters
My heart shatters
Watch as you walk
Away
My heart no longer
A blank canvas
You’ve left
Your mark,
A little to heavy
To be a masterpiece
I get back on
My feet
To be brought
Back down again
Subtle sings
Of an underlying
Emotion and I’m
Left feeling the strain
My eyes,
They betray my
Heart, I linger
Much to long
To hide the pain
As you grip
Her close smiling
And talking,
Is it so wrong
To wonder why
I’m the only one
Who’s left behind?
Lately I’ve been
Beginning to find
My smile has
Become cynical
As my eyes
Become trained
To your little
Game
Try as you might
I won’t forget
The way you
Made me feel
I’ll never regret
The feelings I’ve
Shared
Nice try though
I’m gone,
No sense in playing
The game if it’s
One piece short.
