Never
Never going back,I could believe you
For once,
When your back
Turned, hand wrapped
Tight around the
Doorknob,
Ghosts remain in
Your place,
Go ahead and
Say it,
Your
Never coming home,
Never coming back,
Shaky knees,
Weak wills,
I've had it up
To my neck in
Sorrow,
Drowning my hand
Goes under, still
Outstretched towards you
Blur the lines to
Overstep the bounds
Now I'm on the rebound
Of my conflicting emotions
Never coming home,
Never coming back,
I wouldn't have ever
Thought that three words
Could hurt so much
The harder you will
Try to fade,
The more distinguished
In other's lives
You will become
No amount of our
Sorrow can bring you
Back,
Never coming home,
Never coming back,
I'd never have thought
It to be real
Pale reflections harden
Your words,
Never coming home,
Never coming back,
So this is what hell
Feels like.
