Far Away
The moon has descended,I fear that I am stuck in the middle,
Yet again,
My wounds basking in the eerie,
Midnight glow of the world,
Aflame,
The scariest part of it all,
Being the fact that what
Kills me the most,
Is that even after all you've done,
To me,
I still find myself caring.
Maybe I just need a place,
Far away,
Far away from here,
A place where nobody knows me,
A sea of nameless faces,
That's where I'd want to be,
A place where I can finally be me,
Far away from those who think
They know my true colors,
I'm too tired to try,
Too scared to say anything
That would betray my feelings,
Have I gone and fucked up again?
Here I'll stay, where the moon descends,
Never to ascend,
Tying the sun down,
A place where nobody knows me,
Where I can be myself,
A place far away,
A place with nobody but me...
