Stain
The blood may
Stain,
Like a bad memory
The pain will
Stay fresh
For years to come
I may be young
However I know the
Pains of the world
Like any elder,
The fists may
Clench for wrong
Reasons
The sign of the
Changing seasons
The hatred will
Breed ignorance,
Would it be too
Much to ask
For a subtle
Acknowledgement?
The shadows of those
Before me
They burn,
Never will I see
The sun from their
Depths
Suffocate under
False grievances
It may be years
Until I can
Forgive myself
All these lies
Smile as you realize
You are the last of a
Dying breed
Made to hate
Afraid to love
Torn apart at the
Seams of these
Watered down dreams,
I've got the scars
To prove my
Thoughtless existence
This blood on
Our hands will not be
Forgotten
Useless to prove
Ourselves Now
Yesterday is gone
Tomorrow is too late.
