Forgotten Memory
Forgotten Memory
The nightmares,
A dull ache
Of a long forgotten
Memory
A piece in time
So fragile,
Fallen from so high
Shattered to pieces
As it hit’s the
Ground
the earth will
Swallow us all
Don’t run
Stand steady
As you shake
Inwards
Strong holds
On weak bonds
Just let it slip
Away
Face the tide
You know we’ll
All die
On this round
Yet you stand
So surely
The memories are
Blurring together
As the nightmares
Begin to become
Clearer
Different this time
Yet all the same
All out to get me
This world’s going
To end
A crack leading
To a break in
The damn
Force it back
Trace the paths
Return to you
The shattered moment
Recollected
Reversed
Brought back to life
Pieced together
By clarity
I can finally see it
All again.
