Every
If every tear were words,A novel would replace the pain.
If the pen never ran out of ink,
The pain might subside a bit.
If somebody cared,
There Wouldn't be any pain
Sad, your only worry being
How long until you fade.
If every smile was true,
The heart might sing more often.
If only walks in the rain weren't just
To hide the tears.
If there was something more,
I feel as if it's not going to come easy.
The pained corner I've buried myself in,
The walls are caving,
I fear it's going to fall.
I don't want to be exposed any further.
Not again, never does any good for me.
If every jaded and torn hearted decision
Wasn't made for all the wrong reasons.
It's nearly impossible to pry open all that's
Been locked shut,
Stop...please stop trying,
It hurts.
