New Scars
All of my timeWashed away by
Harshly spoken
Regrets
New scars cover
Where the old
Ones are
No matter the
Pain is still
The same no
Single soul can
Keep me here,
Nor are there
Enough willing
To try and see
Wrapped up in
The Past
Time may heal
Everything, but what
If it isn't on
My side?
There is no point
In fighting fate
The blood has dried
Leaving us all
To wonder why
Regrets you
Know are better
If not spoken
Aloud with such
Conviction
Give it up
My dear, no matter
How sincere it
May seem,
It is all just
A part of the
Bigger picture the
One I can't seem
To finish painting
I have gone and
Ran out of paint
Again,
New scars cover
Where the old
Ones are,
Renewed paint
Comes from renewed
Ambition, and
Of course from fresh
Blood.
