Tropical Dreams
On an island in the tropics, where the weather is fareI dreamed one night that I was there
Sitting beneath a palm tree, resting in the shade, trying to keep cool
from the heat of the day
I watched the crystal ocean as it beat up on the sand, at its leaving out and then rolling back in.
then I began to wish I had something to do and then you appeard right out of the blue.
you were standing in the sunshine on the white beachy sand, dancing to the rythem of a steel drum band.
I jumped when I saw you, what a suprise, I could hardly believe my eyes.
I went out to join you in the tribal dance, but as it so happened I never got the chance.
for then in a instant or even quicker it seems, you vanished along with the scences. Is I sat up out of my dream, I began to wonder what it could mean. but eire to this day I remember the topic of the night that we met down in the tropics.
