Spring time Jig
Spring is coming dance a jigof merriment and glee
for the longing of the days
and soon shall it be
the warmth of sun has but begun but oh still it's started
for soon we will leave winter, and from the snow be parted
so dance now my lads oh joyfully now lass
for unto us such joy we find
now dance a jig for tis spring time
up the hill of St. Patrick's way
let the elves and pixies play
with leaves and buds and merrry may
oh dance till winter's gone away
the warmth of sun has but begun but oh still it's started
for soon we will leave winter, and from the snow be parted
so dance now my lads, oh joyfully now lass
for unto us such joy we find
now dance a jig for tis spring time.
