In with the new.
There was I time I rememberbefore the sky turned black
I ran with the sun in my face
the wind at my back
but then in the twinkling of the eye my blue sky fell and shaddered
like all my happy dreams and washed away down the drain
like it never even mattered
I sunk down on my knees in shock of the disater and curled up to hide my face, my world spiining even faster
then there grew with in my a dark and evil thing, and I knew from that moment that i'd never be the same
the monster grew inside me, and then the beast did roar
in equality with the agony as I fell to the floor
I hung to the stone ledge my body quaked with fever
my head like a recored echoed the voice of the disever
Then suddenly at the peak of all the confusion, a gentle voice called out to me and showed me an illusion. I saw there in my mind a picture of a man standing with out streched arms and nail prints in each hand.
and suddenly the light came back and the monster slowly withered
until there was nothing left but a little fearful quiver
I saw my dreams unfolding each piece like brand new, and then the clouds were parted and the sun light did shine through
I stood up on my feet again my eyes locked on the sky
a smile sketched on my mouth and a tear in my eye
for all things had past away,
the old was lead away
and standing proudly in its place was something completely new.
