Adieu
no more talk of foolish thingswe both know the truth
the bond that held us so close has finally come loose
by whos blame do we take this knife and cut the cords that
bind us
and say goodbye oh please don't cry
we both know this is the end
and when the music ends and all the party gone home
what will be left of the time that we have spent
well the hours grown late and we must not wait
for the morning sun dawns swiftly
no more fake commitments or trying to arrange
our lives have meet but never joined and now thy untwin
like the strings of a knitting so beautifully crafted
through the years pulled loose from the stich and latches
and when the story is complete when they say the end
we will remember all the times that we had spent as frineds
but every story does have an ending every song must stop
in time
and we are here on the thresh hold of never ever again
so take a bow my dear and bid me a fond adieu and let us leave
as strangers for you name I have forgot.
