I want more than one day
I don't want a second a minute or a dayI only want love if it is for always
I don't want a friendship, a date, or a partnership
I want a love so deep that we be joined at the hip
I don't want a fairytale, a prince, or charming Ogre
I want a love that is real, that will last even when life is over
I don't want to pretend, I've never been one for acting
I want to live it as myself and not with masking
I need a love that goes to the core, that leaves me breathless on the floor
and begging and hoping for more, and one that will not ignore the way I truly feel.
I want a love that's completely free, no gifts or treats of breviary
no tricks or trades to lead me stranded
with broken heart, or empty handed
I want a love that want hold back, or ever stab me in the back
I want a love that's true and clean and gets to the spaces in between
I want a love that can make smile, a love that will last my whole life while
and even after this world ends, I want a love that's cleansed from sins
a love that's pure, a love that's sure. a love that's always growing more
a love that's true a love that's real, a love who will love me still
no hiding under bushes no trimming off the top, I want a love that come hard and strong, and never ever stops.
