    dream a little dream sing a little song promise me you'll be there my whole life long

    may I have this dance?

     May I have the honor
    may i have this dance
    I'm stepping out on a sea of glass
    willing to take the chance

    can I hold your hand
    can I hold your heart
    can I give you mine
    and love you from the start

    will you take the offer
    will you take the call
    will you catch me
    or will you let me fall

    are you going to be there
    are you the one
    or is this just a fairytale
    in the morning, will you be gone

    come lets dance the nights song
    will be together this whole life long
    unless someone should pass this way
    and carry you far away

    my dear I dare to say this
    although I am not sure
    but I don't think it is possiable
    to love you any more

    not that I don't love you
    but my heart has ripped its seam
    from all this hope for the years to come
    and all the times in between

    Your bold initiative by your poetic alter ego had me gender confused for a moment. But a great write comingling the emotional present with the envisioned eternal.
