shower's and slumber
let the rain pour over me the rivers flow sooth my souland leave me drenched upon the shore where waves will part forever more
I love the rain I love the sea, the way it flows inside of me
the cool peaceful lull it sings when it falls as rain upon sliver leaves
the autumn wind a bit of chill with winter's birth yet to be
I long for those sweet breezes that warm me in the spring
underneath the fairy light with stars that gleam like diamonds
and glow the moon her magic web as the river gently rocks you
now hush my dear and you shall hear a tale of fantasy leaving you thirst for more until another time
but now the waves wash away there is no more time to play but wake and work for the rain is coming and the harvest is yet in sight. but for the day will lay away the work and roubles great and rest on currents of sweet roses tears
that flow past and drown the fears of lady bugs and fire flies that linger by the river's side and call forth the clouds and free the rain to fall upon the withered
frames or slumbered tress caught in a breeze that reminds me of summer
and now the dew fresh fallen new flows into the ocean but come thy forth, snow from the north and sprinkle all in white, a merry child's delight
but for the maid who slaves away although her name's not known. Lord let it be and fall on me the soothing rivers rain.
