with lights all a glow
and frost on the window
the Christmas tree so pretty
and underneath its decorative branches
gifts are piled and joys are awaiting

and the angels singing to God on high
their glorious voices filling the sky

and he shall be called Emmanuel
for in his coming, God is with us
and that is the true meaning of Christmas,
