Eternal Sea
Upon the grey seaupon the sea
I sailed into eternity
set in silence at sun set
wishing the day wasn't over yet
for the night that comes is dry and cold
no life with in just a hollow mold
a mirror of what could have been if I
had sailed on better wind.
but storms came raging, the rain still falls
I clung to the rigging's through out it all
and in the morn when the sun did rise
I was in some place I did not recognize
the land was barren no life was found
save for what was and is now underground
I fled those shores in horrors flight
returned to the sea, returned to the night
for in the shadow's of the moon
I sailed on with a merry tune
and yet I sail upon the grey sea
upon the sea, into eternity.
