his eye is on the sparrow
Do the stars fear falling from way up in the skyor the birds fear of flying with its feathered wing
does the ocean fear the sun when the rain does not come
or the mountain the winter wind?
so why do I fear so much, why am I filled with doubt. When I know who holds tomorrow, and keeps earth spinning round
and if I know tomorrow is in his mighty hand, and if he gives the birds a soft place to land. if the stars come out to night and if the rain should fall, I know that he will be there to help me through it all
and if he cares so much for little frightened birds, than how much more does he love me.
So I'll sing because he hears me
I'll sing because he's here
and if he is near, than whom shall I fear?
