Final Good bye
The car drove pastthrough the puddle with a splash
past the lonley girl with a tear drop on her lash
the old man did not see her
he was a drunken mess
didn't see how much she need to feel his caress
Instead he drove on faster
never mind the horrid pain
he simply had left her standing there
crying in the rain.
He never even turned around, he never even stopped
to say his last good byes, just hurried to his truck.
he laid down on the hammer, then came the erie sigh
as the girl stood in dismay of watching her father die.
