You take and take and take
until we all know what's at stake
will hold it off as forever or at least till the dam brake

it goes and goes and goes, see how fast it flows
it starts as a drop then turns with the tide until it breaks
through to the other side

you give and give and give, you've only one life to live
and so precious are the happy moments so few and far in between

but do you dare to dream in never ending steam no matter if you are a wake or
asleep you've got to let the sun shine gleam

try your best to live your life as if the day holds no sorrow
for joy comes with the morning but we are not promised tomorrow

so dry your tears and quite the fears, and let the anger leave you
embrace the love with a big bear hug and always say your sorry

for when the sun sets down, and the darkness comes again
we might find our self wishing to do it over again

over and over and over it goes to the highest high or the lowest low
and no one knows where the time goes because the past is gone

on golden streets and happy the meet when at last I see you again.
