Singing over me
I woke up this morning to the sound of church bells ringingthe melody alike that of heavenly folk a singing
but all the world was still asleep and none were there to wittness
all the glory that unfolded , it was purely bliss
and then the sun rise burst a new, from its cloudy bed
and bathed the world in golden dew that sparkles like the sea
the air was cool and crisp
the wind was proud and strong
and all the jays and swalloows gladly sang along
I could not catch the rythem
the chours much to complex
but none would dare compare to that which happened next
for in the dawning spring sky
I saw a rainbow full glory
that said that God was singing to
and this one was for me
I replied with excited glee
I jumped from my bed and fell to my knees
I thanked the Lord for the lovely song
and prayed it to play the whole day long.
