"Waterfall"
O’er her peace now reposed
I stood guard to ensure
She would sleep unopposed
Dreaming love’s overture
In transfixed joyous awe
I subdued all my senses
Letting go to love’s Law
And its sweet consequences
Our future was clear
Without fear’s trepidation
I looked forward to years
Filled with love’s incarnation
We had dared to be free
From the doubts the lost teach
From the anxiety
All the doomsayers preach
She awakened to greet
The blank look on my face
Drawing nearer to meet
The next perfect embrace
Though we spoke not a word
Our hearts said it all
While we loved what we heard
Amidst love’s waterfall
