A Time To Die
I watched death today
Watched death have its way
I even watched death pray
I talked with death today
And walked with death astray
To hear what death had to say
Then
I went home
What can I say?
Every so often
We must go out there
And play the game
To remind us of what death is
And that everyone is not the same
On death day
I loved death today
Loved it and got paid
I looked the other way
I warned death today
I said "Go away, and don't come back"
Then
I went home to stay
