Last night it rained heavily

We heaved a sigh of relief happily

It was respite from hot waves

I felt it may relieve people and help to save

How many deaths due to heat?

It was all time high and record beat

Hundreds have lost lives so far

It is nature’s undeclared war

All seasons are now becoming severe

They play with human lives here

Rain, cold waves sweep across

Add to misery and cause colossal loss

The nights pose grave danger

Many may be dying out of hunger

This can be still understood

How can we think of nature being rude?

I heard big bang on window

It was as if caused by stone throw

Nights are otherwise very scary

Heavy rain and thunder adds to worry

I rushed to window and peeped outside

The sky was overcast and stretched wide

It may rain heavily as I presumed

The heat waves may die down and consumed

I listen to various noises

Many creatures come out it without any choice

They have to look towards sky with so much hope

Will have to wait and until it stops

It may shower heavily and wind may move fast

The clouds may downpour and try to fizzle out with overcast

They too need depletion to come out of heavy commitment

It is fascinating show with nice movement

As it forced me to leave window

I still preferred to stay and did not go

I had some sort of satisfaction

It was nice and pleasant indication

I loved it to stay for whole night

It was good to observe the beautiful sight

It was pleasing me from depth

But still worrying about unnatural deaths
