It is hard to maintain

And very difficult to contain

All efforts sometimes go in drain

Beauty may lie there if you express no pain

Promises are to be broken

If they are merely a gesture and stay as token

It has no value if have the customary nature

How can one be so much confident and sure?

The psychology is to be understood clearly

How that may be takes as very dearly?

When times comes at crucial juncture

How it shakes foundation as well as the structure

Person may retaliate and act in self defense

If things go wrong or create any nonsense

It is compulsion of human nature to act

Let people think otherwise and react

I would love and prefer to be alone

It may not deter my path even in cyclone

Promises do not mean to be of nonsense value

Enough thought must be give along with honor and dues

It never bothered me as an individual

I have aligned to the role not supposed to be dual

I would work toward strengthening the confidence 

What is more important in life is its presence

Nice words might have been spoken at the start

Those may be taken as mere words and product of an art

Its real test may come sometimes later

When loved person may turn out to be hater
