    hearts, like stars
    can shine so bright
    they pierce us all
    with clearer sight

    slender rays
    of hopeful light
    to illuminate
    souls blackest night

    the wings of faith
    and dreams take flight
    to soar as passion
    reignites

    hearts, like stars
    can shine so bright
    long after
    they are dead inside
