    Poem Commentary

    I'm honestly quite surprised I was able to write such a positive poem. It was a marvelous day though.

    Peaceful Day

     Sunshine on my body
    Grass between my toes
    It seems to me that
    Everything glows

    Birds are singing softly
    Notes on the breeze
    Which blows so gently
    I'm entirely at ease

    A smell wafts to me
    Of fresh bloomed flowers
    If I could I would love to
    Sit here for hours

    Gentle wind caresses me
    Bringing a calming heat
    All my weary thoughts
    It shall soon defeat

    What a peaceful day
    Away from everything
    I am free from burden
    And I want to sing

    Sitting with the birds
    The sun and the wind
    I pray this glorious moment
    Will never find an end

    remeinder me of sitting on y porch swing in the fall or spring time- happy to see you can relax- a good time to write

    In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
