Needless
Tonight I felt somethingSomething familiar yet new
And darling I believe
It was because of you
I felt no need of anything
Contentedness filled me up
A subtle kind of joy
Has spilled from my cup
I had no thirst in me
No need to eat well
My basic necessities slipped
They all just simply fell
I felt not winter's breath
Though how I did shiver
My entire body was warmed
Even as I began to quiver
I need not a single thing
Actually, that is untrue;
If I could have anything
I'd say that I need you
