    A Message to The Past

     Driving down the road
    Thinking about a few things
    And I smiled to myself
    When I realized i don't know you

    There are many things
    That I can regret having done
    And wasting time on you
    Is the biggest shame I have today

    All that we amounted to
    Was what you needed me to do
    And I knew that for a while
    But I guess it never really hit me

    I won't go into my reasons
    I won't explain why I'm happy now
    But I want you to know;
    The love I gave was a delusional gift
