All My Fury
If I were a hurricane, and you were a treeI'd be whipping and lashing with all my fury
My terrible winds would make your roots creak
To tear you from the earth is all that I seek
If I were a cat, and you were a mouse
I'd rid your foul presence from this house
My claws and my teeth would and bite and destroy
I'd throw you around like a pathetic new toy
If I were a soldier, and you my enemy
I would bomb you away without any pity
You be blown away in the blaze of a fire
Bringing your death would be all I desire
If I were monster and you were a child
I'd creep up and devour you, going wild
Your bones would be crushed by my jaw
All of your being would be smashed in my maw
If I were a fire and you were a field
I'd burn you away, and never would I yield
As I turned you to ash, my flames would raise
You'd be gone in moments, caught in the blaze
