    Your Heart Of Ice

    You tried to pull me down inside
    So dark these walls of heartache were mine
    Fire and Ice you placed inside
    Too late is your despair in life
    Your own heart you betrayed, not mine
    For I Am A Warrior Of the Light, I Will Survive

    You tried to talk to me, words squawk like mice
    So dark your walls of heartache inside
    Just leave for I seek the light
    Let the Fire you let inside melt this ice
    For I Am A Warrior Of the Light, I Will Survive

    Blank stares on your face of words you did not say
    Oh the Walls of Heartache you tried
    But captured not this heart of mine, with your Lies
    A Heart of the light will melt that ice
    For I Am A Warrior Of the Light, I Will Survive

    Just go and take your spite
    For I seek the light within sight
    Just run away, and take your heart of Ice
    Heart to heart you'll not win this fight
    If you survive your heart of Ice
    For I Am A Warrior Of the Light, I Will Survive

    You tried to talk to me, words squawk like mice

    Just leave for I seek the light
    A Heart of the light will melt that ice

    For you will not infect this heart of mine

    You left the fire and kept the ice in spite

    A spirit escaped released to the light

    That was a fun flash from the past...I had forgotten all about Patty Smyth! Great song choice to augment your piece on the struggle between the dark and light sides of relationships!
