Timothy's Tree
Timothy’s Tree
Walking along, with my
husband, and son, of three, I
discovered the wonder, in a
tiny little branch, of a tree.
“Mommy, Mommy, come here
and see. I’ve picked you a
Christmas tree.”
Surprised, was I, as I tried to
explain the difference in a tree,
and the branch, in my hand.
“No, Mommy, no! It is a tree,
it really is,” said he; His eyes
looking up, so seriously, at me.
I cannot disappoint this little
one, of three.
“Oh, thank you, Sweetie, for
this little tree, from my little
one, to me.”

I shared with my son when he was three.
