    Poem Commentary

    Reflections are memories that our eye perceives as echoes in time. They become etched into our souls and guide our spirits on the paths we have taken, both past and present paths we shall take and these reflections are etched into our memories so that we can relive them at any time from the realm of deja vu....words by Asha (all photos in this video taken by Angel's Photos, enjoy all my dear poet friends both my words and my photos, for it is for you that I strive to give you the best)

    Reflections

    Reflections 

    Our spirit is our desire and drive to seek adventure
    Reflections guide our spirit to natures wonders

    If one passes by a waterfall
    It is our spirit that makes us pause to it's beauty & awe

    Our spirit echoes the beauties of nature in reflections
    And binds them with ones soul
    Which makes us who we are

    For those that do not follow their spirit
    Then it is they who are blinded by the reflections of life

    Reflections are sometimes the deja vu that we feel
    Because our eyes see the reflection of our souls

    In the waters of life and store it as echoes of the past
    yet it is our spirit that keeps these reflections as memories

    Permanently etched in the human brain
    Giving us that feeling of deja vu

    Stop to enjoy the reflections that your spirit gives you pause too
    For they are simple shadows guiding our way into the future
    capturing each memory

    And it is these memories we shall pass on to our children

    thank you again dear for that wonderful comment, I am happy that you enjoyed my write and I hope that you enjoyed the video with my photos I took......it took a couple of days to find the right pictures to fit the theme of reflections, but I finally got enough to make it come together......thanks love asha

    This is a first and I hope not the last time I read a poem and have a vid with beautiful pictures and amazing classical music to go with it!!! Amazingness to say the least

    thank you dear, I am thrilled that you enjoyed it.....every now and then I use some of my photos to make a video poem or just a video of my nature photos with good music.......it is nice to have something to relax too.......I combine several of them onto one cd and I can't keep enough of them in the house,,,,,,,they always disappear to another friends home.......lol.........thanks dear you are too sweet........love asha
