    Can you hear them?
    Can you feel the
    rumbling beneath your
    feet? Can you feel their
    spirits beating in your
    heart? Do you see the
    earth disappearing in
    great clouds of dusts?
    Remember the Mighty
    Buffalo

    Foot note: This is THE very FIRST, Native American POEM, I wrote that inspired the beginning of my writings, it speaks thus from the heart of my Indian heritage. Further more turtle is my Indian name given to me by my grandmother.

    wow, you found one of my old ones.........and just to let you know....this is the first poem/prose I ever wrote, and the start of a whole new realm of things to come, I remember my mother handing me the pen a paper to write it down, I miss her........thanks dear love asha

    thank you dear, I am glad you liked it. that is one I wrote over ten years ago, and it was the very first poem I ever wrote. I was sitting in my shop I had at the time making Native American crafts and selling them, one day I was sitting at my work table making another dream catcher when the words just came to me, my mother was there at the time running my store while I worked. I said mom hand me a pen and piece of paper, so I quickly wrote it down, then for about three weeks different ones along the native american theme kept pouring out of me. then after about three weeks they just stopped, and I started painting my feelings on canvas. that is when I really came up with some master pieces to see, but decided I did not want to sell them as I did not know if I could ever do it again.........lol.....everything I every made with my hands that was NA were always one of a kind,,,,hence the name of my business was Beaver Tree Originals..........lol wow, now that I have rambled so much........lol..i will say thanks and blessings love asha
