    Poem Commentary

    Sometimes life is hard to bare and you want to escape to a place with clean air.

    Lets Just Escape

    I hear you crying deep in the night
    Take my had I’ll show you the star lights
    So much indifference in this life
    So much pain and troubled strife

    Feel the warmth inside my heart
    A love society could not pull apart
    Let the rain wash away todays sin
    A cleansing power to begin again

    Leave the voice of prejudice, unheard
    Let the the wind hear our spoken words
    Of love so pure is the power of its existence
    Leave behind any and all resistance

    Seek shelter with my heart in the mountains
    Seek the splendor of its glorious     grandeur
    We can live and love within her grace
    Lets climb to the top and bless this place

    Leave behind all the worlds bitter hate
    Disappear in the mountains to find our fate
    Escape the cities crime and grime
    Breath deep the mountain air, like sweet lime

    I’ve had enough of this worlds terrible pain
    Dead child lays in the street, who’s to blame
    Take my hand, lets escape this horrible confusion
    The mountain is our place, mother nature created no illusions

    what beautiful flow this has..at times looking back at what needs to be left behind to the glorious comfort of being in God's country.

    What a truly beautiful poem my friend....the artistry that you painted was breathless....this sounds like a place one can go to and just release all inhibitions...nicely done....as for GREGSTER..at this point all that can be said is GROW UP....someone once told me that if you look for darkness in every situation....you shouldn't be surprised when it takes you over....Tread carefully young man....don't look for things that are not there...as you would want others to take your writing at face value...you should do the same for everyone else...great one Asha...Cher

    wow, simply breath taking, bravo! I know these moutains you speak of like the back of my hands, driven everyroad in and out, seen every waterfall and cavern, and still I am admazed and in utter awe of the power and true beauty of the smokies, there is no place like it I have ever seen. Each time I visit it is beauty reborn, with each season, with each year, the moutains change and grow, each time more beautiful than the last! I can see and feel that much of your inspiration and inner beauty you have found in these mountains. An escape like no other, a place of just pure beauty and admazement! I remember one day coming across the new foundland gap, way high above the clouds, I remember driving and seeing a sight I will never forget. I pulled over the car which i do more times than I can count when driving in the mountains. I walked out on a little bridge over looking the carvern beblow thousands of feet above, there was this blue midst in a callage of different hues, it was truely breath taking. You picture you used is that exact view, except for one thing, no picture can ever do it justice, it is like peaking into the clouds of heaven, pearing through the key hole of the pearly gates, there are no words to describe it, just leaves you speachless and in utter awe. A place such as this is the closest one can come to heaven without walking through the gate. It is the greatest esacpe I have found from the darkness, pain, and chaos of the city and of society in general. When you are standing there in the mountains over looking such a sight you feel all you worries disappear, all your troubles, stresses, they all just vanish. You feel like you are the only person in the whole world, but not alone, one with nature in all its glory. Truely beautiful poem my dea friend, brought back many a found memories!!! Can't wait to get back there and get lost in the beauty all over again. Purity of the soul, journey well!!! with grace and humility your dear friend ANGEL

    thank you my dear angel for all those sweet words....yes I will agree whole heartly that there is nothing more beautiful then those mountains....and as I have often said, no one can paint a picture as beautiful as mother nature herself....I am missing those mountains and my son a lot.........hey have a read the one I just posted,,,,,,inspired by the comments of this one.......lol....called "Her Grace"...........then you will know me well..and maybe he will get the picture.....lol......loves ya asha
