    Do you know Her name

    Please save me
    Earth spins
    Sun rises
    Day turns to night
    And starts all over again

    Left Standing in my own wake of time
    What is left for this empty heart of mine
    I grasp the hand of nature within
    My whole world begins a new spin

    Amongst the majestic trees I feel free
    My heart feels the sadness of Her plea
    My Soul shines within this peace
    One step at a time to ease the release

    Emotions are flowing, and my heart wants to cry
    But it is peaceful here even through the night
    Sadness surrounds me despite Her loving realm
    She is crying as our spirits connect & begins to overwhelm

    Deaf ears lay for those who know not Her name
    A giver of life and lovers paradise are within the same
    I smell the rain, Her tears growing closer this night
    Here I will sit and hold Her hand, till others join me in Her fight

    Gotta respect the lifeblood of nature. She is mother to us all. This is a mesmerizing and profoundly beautiful tribute. I really love the line "Amongst the majestic trees I feel free My heart feels the sadness of Her plea." Thanks so much for sharing this Asha

    Mother Nature, Gaia, Pachamama, Demeter, Nokomis- whichever name you choose to call her, she is indeed beautiful and worthy of our friendship and respect. A lovely tribute!

    Asha,, These are very soothing and peaceful words that you offer.I feel a strong connection to mother earth and to all living things.It is my prayer that people from every nation around the world will learn to respect and help to preserve all of the natural beauty and wonderful gifts that The Great Spirit has blessed us with.I really love this beautiful poem and will read it often my friend.Love and light and many blessings.
