Country Girls Life
I feel no shame, I'm proud that I came, from the mountain tops
I was born and raised, blessed with natures grace, where I go, to pray
I go to sleep, no matter where I am, I'll hear lullaby's, on the midnight breeze
Come take my hand, I'll show you lazy days, on a forest trail
Natures music, gently swaying in the breeze, I lose all thoughts
Don't look for me, you wont find me here, when I'm in natures grace
Taste of blackberry and sweet honey suckle, floating on the breeze
No matter where I go, my heart you'll find, its beauty in the wild flowers
It's where I learned about love and hard work , this is who I am
I feel no shame, I'm proud I came, from the mountain tops
No matter where I go, my soul you'll find, as sweet as grapes on the vines
Those mountains running wild through my veins
When my time comes, just take me back into those pines
To that final sleep, with the lullaby blowing through the trees
Next to my love, we will both be free, for he was born and raised, on those mountain tops
