Surrounded by green so lush, bark of burnt umber to touch
The scent of citrus pine in the brisk morning air, along my path
Butterfly’s fluttered freely, rainbows of color, such ecstasy
A squirrel scurried up a tree & barked his welcome to me
I felt a hand take mine as I walked along natures path
In a small clearing I sat and prayed to the Great Spirit
I give my thanks to Her, life giver, protector & provider
Sunlight peeks through great oaks & weeping willows to warm my heart
Capturing my heart, and filling it with peace and love within Her grace
Spotted dear came and laid next to me
Rabbits, Foxes and Owls all came to join my quest for peace
Oh gracious Mother Nature please bless these creatures
My aura surrounding my spirit combines with the creatures of your forest
Mocking birds songs whimsically fills the air
A Whippoorwill calls to his mate over there
Light headed & sleepy from all this lush peace
Soft plush green moss provided the pillow for my head to rest
Just to dream away, in the comfort and protection of the majestic oaks
I dozed so peacefully in the shade of a weeping willow tree
A Robin flies up into the oak, taking food to her young
Mother nature guided Her creatures to lye next to me
Such peace, love, life, fulfillment, grace & beauty
Our spirits combined made me feel wild and free
Every where my eye can see, there is life in this place
Who could ask for anything more then the Grace of Her life?
