    With this poem I tried to make the poem in the shape of a cluster of Lilac blossoms.......well I think I got pretty close anyway.........lol.......hope you all enjoy this one........love asha

    Lilacs From Heaven

    Lilacs From Heaven

    Let me hear you say, I love you
    as you, wipe the tears that I've shed
    Watching your Lilacs grow & blossom
    That you sent me from Heaven

    Please call out my name, love?
    And chase the nightmares away
    Embracing you in my dreams
    Vases on my nightstand, filled
    With your Lilacs from Heaven

    I will try and be strong, for you
    As the darkness peeks through
    my window and haunts my dreams
    Please call out my name, so I can dream
    only of your love, with that sweet aroma
    Of those Lilacs from Heaven

    Cherished forever, are my dreams of you, and
    I know I must carry on, even in the pouring
    rain, on a sunshiny day. I know the rain, is
    Your tears from Heaven, you sent to me
    To give this earth new life, each day, and
    to water those heavenly bushes, while
    Holding your Lilacs from Heaven

    The lilacs reminds me or the lilac bush that grew in front yard as a child. The poem reminds me of my late mother and the tear I shed when she pasted too early. I thank you for sharing your thoughts. Olan

    The name of it is "One of My Most Favorite Things" it does not speak of lilacs but love and rain ginga

    Very Beautiful Asha .. A lilac bunch is definitely not the easiest to draw to begin with .. never mind trying to form the shape out of words. But you certainly were able to do so. Great Job my friend! :) Ken

    This is simply spectacular, Asha. The layout is beautiful... If I understand correctly from the last comment, you must have had some rogue punctuation thrown about in an effort to shape the poem they way you wanted... I didn't see the original layout, but this layout is wonderful, and it accomplished exactly what you were going for without the use of unnecessary periods :) Beautifully written in your signature, heart-filled style. Excellent job!

    thank you dear for that sweet comment, yes I had put three periods at the end of each line just for looks and it did cause the reader to stumble with the lines so I took them out.........I do that sometimes on my poems just for looks........I duno would you call that a girl thing, wanting to decorate............LMAO..........thanks I am thrilled you liked it.........loves ya asha
