Originally from SW Georgia, I grew up in a very rural farm setting and enjoyed a complicated, but colorful childhood, with many varied experiences. I attended Columbus State University for 6 years, and achieved 2 degrees, Science and Art. At 15, I began performing in a Professional Dance Company and I have modeled and danced professionally for over 20 years. Upon my thirties, just after being wed in Cleveland, OH (1996) I experienced a major illness which required me to go deep within myself to heal along with acquiring a great amount of knowledge of the herbal kingdom and a new found sense of health and well-being to come out of it alive on the other side. Some shamans have referred to it as "the dark night of the soul", well I certainly would refer to it that way and gained so much in the light from the ordeal and feel blessed for it and willing to share what I have learned and spread peace & love to others. I consider it a calling to my higher self, a release, and of which many of my poetic offerings here on OP may or may not reflect. I am happily married with one child and reside in Beachwood, OH, where my husband's family is from. Group and Personal Fitness Training is my current passion. I spend a lot of time with my clients helping them reach health and wellness goals of their own.
I love writing, music and art. I also work with musical selection for demonstration and presentation purposes. Often, I feel that poetry and journalling have carried me during some of the roughest waters I've had to pass through which is why I return to it again and again. I was inspired and disciplined by many awesome mentors who helped me become confident and hone my individual skill-set. I take parenting very seriously and regard it as a gift and a treasured role in my life.
I have deep connection to spirit and mysticism.
