Love
Shakespeare said love is not love if it alters because it finds changes.
Plato said love is the desire that those we love would live forever.
With these two sentiments, I heartily agree.
Over my fleet stream of days gone by, my memory ranges:
My heart’s deep core can feel, and my mind’s knowing power can see,
That everyone I ever loved, is still loved by me.
I wish that all my friends, family, lovers, and my former wife,
Could and would have happy eternal life.
I wish that I and all my loved ones could be, really and truly be, immortal.
I love you all so much. Till my last breath, my love will not slip from me.
If I could be immortal, my love would forever be.
