    This is a poem written for me, by an old friend, Patricia, who lives now several States away from me. She insisted that I publish it in my OP.com space, since she has no access to the Internet. Every word here is exactly as she insisted on.

                Written for my true hero-poet and grandest, best friend, Michael:
                                                   My tribute to you

     
    Meeting you that sunny day one long-ago October,
    I knew instantly I could love you.
    Cute as a little boy with your tousled blond hair.
    Had a feeling we would always be close.
    And you wrote so many beautiful poems for me.
    Each word I treasure still.
    Learning, growing, like a vine intertwined with a tree.
    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
    Love is you...
    Everything about you bursts with passion and emotion.
    Every conversation developed our history.
    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
    "Patricia," you would say, as we talked and talked.
    Reaching far into parts of me I didn't even know.
    Enticing, enjoying, exciting so many feelings and thoughts.
    Sweetness always there.
    Creativity plus, that's you--inside and out.
    Only you could be so amazing.
    Talented, full of intelligence beyond description.
    Teddy-bear tiger, I do love you!

    tell your friend its a good poem, and strong words to describe a friend, you must have made a real impact on her life and her heart
